Empowering Women & Children in Rural Uganda

• Visited numerous schools and communities within Koboko District in the West Nile Region of Uganda

• Promoted menstrual dignity and menstrual hygiene education through interactive engagements, practical demonstrations and open discussions

• Distributed sanitary pads and other menstrual hygiene support materials

• Highlighted the need for increased access to sanitary materials, and sustained community sensitization efforts to support girls’ education, wellbeing, and dignity
